Jet Ski or PWC: What's Illegal on Swains?

According to the state of New Hampshire a "ski craft" is any motorized vessel that is less than 13 feet in length, capable of exceeding 20 miles per hour, and has the capacity to carry no more than two persons. This includes personal watercraft designed to seat one or two persons.

"Ski Craft" are illegal on Swains Lake. Only personal watercraft(PWC) capable of holding three or more persons and is longer that 13 feet are allowed on Swains Lake. New signage has been added to our boat launch to help remind boaters.

If you spot a "ski craft" on our body of water you are asked to record the bow number of the vessel and contact NH Marine Patrol at (877) 642-9700.
